SARTA  is a self contained National Ski Patrol affiliate consisting of volunteer search and rescue personnel. SARTA's specialized Hasty Team is skilled in ground search, rescue and recovery operations requiring multi-day campaigns, in remote locations, during all seasons.

The National Ski Patrol was founded in 1938 and is the largest rescue organization in the world.  It is comprised of over 27,000 members in North America and Europe practicing at some of the largest and busiest mountainous areas in the world. SARTA  is available to search within wilderness areas using recognized search techniques and providing advanced wilderness first aid and rescue procedures.

There are no fees for search and rescue except for transportation costs and incurred expenses.  Round trip transportation must be arranged and paid for directly by the requesting organization.  An expense retainer must be paid in advance and is based on the type, duration and required resources of the search and rescue.  Please contact us for more information.
